    Thomas School of Dance students garner awards

    PLYMOUTH, Massachusetts — A group of students from Thomas School of Dance in Bangor received high awards at the Take Centerstage Dance Challenge National Dance Competition in Plymouth, Massachusetts July 26-28.

    Dancers ages 6-18 competing from Thomas School of Dance were Shannon Evans, Kinleigh Lovett-Morris, Larkin Lovett-Morris, Bella Moore, Isabelle Seamans, Paige Seamans, Rosie Seamans, Meghna Vijay, and Ali Wade with choreography by Danielle Barrett, Cassandra Lovett, Bella Moore, and competition team director, Serena Lovett.

    Thomas School of Dance Performance Ensemble’s three group routines earned 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Bella Moore was crowned Miss Centerstage, and Isabelle Seamans was runner-up, Miss Centerstage.

    In solo divisions Larkin Lovett-Morris took third place, Bella Moore first place, Isabelle Seamans sixth place, Rosie Seamans first place, Meghna Vijay third place, and Ali Wade fourth place.  Kinleigh Lovett-Morris and Paige Seamans received a first place duet award. Bella Moore received the third place Student Choreography award.

    Isabelle Seamans was awarded “Senior Promising Dancer”. Rosie Seamans was awarded “You Show Promise”. Ali Wade was awarded “Fluidity, Grace & Elegance”.
