An Exeter man has been arrested in connection with a slaying in Pennsylvania.

Justice Flenory, 23, was wanted on a Pennsylvania governor’s warrant for murder, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office. He also faces charges of unlawful drug trafficking and aggravated forgery.

Flenory was arrested by Dexter police on a felony drug offense and brought to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor about 10:30 p.m. Monday, the sheriff’s office said Tuesday morning.

Flenory was allegedly acting evasive and displaying “unusual behavior” during the booking process.

That prompted the jail officer to investigate his identity further and discovered that Flenory allegedly gave a fake name and date of birth to Dexter police.

The investigation revealed Flenory had a “full extradition active warrant for murder out of Pennsylvania,” the sheriff’s office said.

The sheriff’s office said that discovery prevented Flenory from being housed in a lower security classification or being bailed out. He remains in custody.

No additional information was immediately available.
