Fat Panda Asian market opens 2nd location

Fat Panda, an Asian market that opened in Bangor in December 2021, has officially moved into its second location.

The new Brewer location will offer ice cream, along with its fresh boba tea selection, Carrabassett Coffee and fresh Gosselin’s donuts. It is located at the Brewer at the Hannaford plaza, beside DaVita Dialysis, with a plan to open at 7 a.m. on Sunday .

Its flagship location is at 324 Harlow St., next door to Gosselin’s Donuts and Bangor Floral.

In its first week, the Fat Panda team will have one soft serve ice cream machine running, with the plan to have three working machines, offering two flavors and a “twist” option as part of regular operations.

At this point in time, Fat Panda plans to offer frozen treats like mochi, as well as some Asian snacks. The team also plans to install seating for a dine-in experience.
