    Man accused of shooting 17-year-old in Portland

    A 19-year-old has been accused of shooting a teenager in Portland.

    Dominic Moncada-Sanchez of Portland was charged with aggravated attempted murder, elevated aggravated assault and violating his conditions of release, according to Brad Nadeau, a spokesperson for the Portland Police Department.

    Police found the 17-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound on Forest Avenue about 2:21 a.m. Tuesday, Nadeau said.

    The teen, whose identity wasn’t released, was taken to Maine Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The teen is now in stable condition, Nadeau said.

    Moncada-Sanchez was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in South Portland.

    He is being held at the Cumberland County Jail.

    I’m sure it will be justified just like every kid they have killed in the last few years like the 16 year old kid that got shot with a assault rifle in Waterboro it’s bullshit
