    She allegedly stole a dump truck in Vermont and drove to Bangor

    A woman was arrested in Bangor on Thursday after she allegedly stole a dump truck in Vermont earlier in the day.

    Alicia Alling, 40, has been charged with grand larceny and operating without owner’s consent, according to the Lyndonville Police Department. Information about Maine charges wasn’t immediately available Friday morning.

    Alling allegedly stole the 2015 GMC dump truck overnight from Creative Counters LCC’s site on Commercial Lane in Lyndonville.

    The company reported the truck stolen about 9:54 a.m.

    Bangor police officers intercepted Alling in the Queen City about 5:15 p.m., and the truck was impounded by Union Street Tow Co., according to Lyndonville police.

    Alling will be arraigned in Caledonia Superior Court in Vermont at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 23, 2024.

    No additional information was immediately available.
