AUBURN, Ala. (WSFA) - A recent report shows that Sodexo, a vendor with Auburn University, is laying off close to 200 employees. According to the Alabama WARN report, Sodexo Inc. and Affiliates at Auburn University are laying off 170 employees beginning August 31. In February of 2022, Sodexo started a three-year contract to become the university’s custodial service provider on the main campus and the College of Veterinary Medicine, as well as auxiliary services.
