One dead in three-vehicle crash in Barboursville

UPDATE (9:58 p.m. Thursday, July 4): One person has died following a crash near Barboursville Thursday night.

That’s according to first responders in Barboursville who tell 13 News that the extent of the other injuries in the three-vehicle crash is not known at this time.

The area at the intersection of Route 60 at Davis Creek Road/Alternate 10 near Barboursville is expected to be closed for several hours.

BARBOURSVILLE, WV (WOWK) — Crews are on the scene of an accident that is expected to have the road closed for a few hours.

It happened in Barboursville around 9 p.m. Thursday night at the intersection of Route 60 at Davis Creek Road/Alternate 10.

According to an emergency alert people are being asked to avoid the area.

The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.
