    Two people injured in Barboursville crash

    (UPDATE: 1:18 p.m. Friday, July 12) – Cabell County 911 dispatchers say Route 60 has reopened after a crash that sent two people to the hospital.

    There is no word on the conditions of the two people who were injured at this time.


    BARBOURSVILLE, WV (WOWK) – Two people have been injured in a crash in Barboursville.

    According to Cabell County 911 dispatchers, the crash happened just before 10:40 a.m. Friday on Route 60 near Peyton Street. Dispatchers say a pickup truck and a three-wheeled motorcycle, also known as a trike, were involved.

    Dispatchers say two people have been taken to the hospital. There is no word on their conditions at this time.

    According to dispatchers, the westbound lanes of Route 60 are currently closed. A wrecker is en route to clear the scene.

    The Barboursville Police Department, Barboursville Volunteer Fire Department and Cabell County EMS responded.
