BARBOURSVILLE, WV (WOWK) — A portion of Interstate 64 was shut down Tuesday for power line work, according to Barboursville Mayor Chris Tatum.

The mayor told 13 News that both lanes are currently shut down between Exits 15 and 18 near Barboursville — and will remain so for the next 30 minutes. Traffic is being rerouted to Exit 15 and Exit 18 through Route 60 in the meantime.

The power lines are reportedly down due to an incident involving a crane.
