'It's unbelievable' | Neighbors in shock over deadly shooting in southwest Jefferson County
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Valley Station community is mourning after a man many of them knew was killed during what is believed to be a home invasion. Louisville Metro Police said officers responded to a home in the 15000 block of Dixie Highway, just south of Mill Creek Station, on a trouble run around 9:15 p.m. Sunday.

Family to leave $15 million to Norton Children’s Hopsital
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A local family is giving $15 million to Norton Children’s Hospital to honor their daughter and the care she received. Norton Children’s says Meadow EmmaLou Boes was diagnosed with tetralogy of Fallot with pulmonary atresia before she was born. The congenital condition changes the way blood flows to the lungs and through the heart. Several surgeries and hospital stays later, Meadow is an active, happy 2-year-old.

2 men taken to the hospital after shooting in New Albany, police say
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two men were shot and taken to the hospital in New Albany on Monday evening, according to police. According to New Albany Police Chief Todd Bailey, police responded to a shooting at 1829 Culbertson Avenue around 7:05 p.m. Once police arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot. He was taken to University of Louisville Hospital, but his condition isn't known at this time.
