Man walks into Central District clinic with 'multiple machete slash wounds'
SEATTLE — A 35-year-old man walked into a Central District clinic with multiple machete slash wounds on Thursday evening, the Seattle Police Department said. The man walked into the clinic on the 2100 block of East Yesler Way shortly after 6:30 p.m. with "multiple slash wounds to both arms and head," police said. Aid was provided by the Seattle Fire Department and the man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in "serious condition," police added.
This Washington Fire Year Really Isn’t Easy!
Current Situation: The Easy Fire is burning through dense timber, dead trees, and ground vegetation on very steep terrain. Activity near State Route 20 has moderated, but there is still fire within the north and south sides of the perimeter. Man sentenced to prison for 2021 hit-and-run that killed Shoreline mother
KING COUNTY, Wash. - The man who killed a Shoreline mother during a hit-and-run in 2021 will spend nearly 11 years in prison. On Thursday before sentencing, Aiden Ott apologized to the family of the victim, 45-year-old Diane Marx. Ott accepted a plea agreement for counts of vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, hit-and-run felony death, and reckless driving.
