Barnegat Police Department Announces Latest Promotions

BARNEGAT - The Barnegat Police Department recently announced several promotions and welcomed a new officer.

  • Lieutenant Nicholas Venuto will oversee the Patrol Division.
  • Sergeant Kristopher Burke will supervise the midnight shift on patrol.
  • Sergeant Anthony Carlo will also supervise the midnight shift on patrol.

• New Hire

  • Patrolman Landon Zagacki joins the department from the Hopewell Township Police Department.

Chief Carroll congratulated the promoted officers and highlighted their dedication and skills.

"We are immensely proud of Lieutenant Venuto, Sergeants Burke and Carlo, and Patrolman Zagacki," said Chief Carroll.
