A Florida man has been charged with attempting to stab another patron at a restaurant in Rumson on Thursday. David Gulley, 75, of Palm Beach Shores, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and simple assault, police said.
Brick Police Chief Addresses Misinformation On Medical Incident
BRICK – Brick Township Police Chief David Forrester has released a statement in regards to misinformation spread across social media of a medical incident. The incident occurred on August 22 around 3 p.m. in the Midstream’s neighborhood. Social media pages were reporting that a murder occurred in the neighborhood, with pictures showing several police cars parked outside a home on Midstreams Road. However, Brick Police has said this information is false.
