Moorhead Police investigating shooting after discovering critically injured man near MSUM
MOORHEAD, MN — Moorhead Police say a person is critically injured following a gunshot wound to the head this morning. The incident took place in the 900 block of 18 Street South, just outside of MSUM Campus. Officers got to the scene at 3:20 this morning, finding the adult male in a parking lot. A suspect has yet to be identified by police. The firearm used to shoot the victim has yet to be located.

Skies will also be mostly clear and sunny, with less wildfire smoke (but still some smoky haze) due to light southeasterly winds of 5-10 mph. Thursday is the first day this week where we could see temperatures reach the low 90s. We’ll start the day off in the mid-60s but mostly sunny skies will give way to the afternoon highs in the mid to upper 80s with a few 90s possible. Thursday our winds will pick up as well, expecting a south-southeasterly wind gusting up to 30 mph.
