BARNESVILLE, Ohio (WTRF) — The Belmont County Victorian Mansion Museum held a backyard barbecue filled with games, live music, and good food.

Guests had the opportunity to play bingo or Jenga, take part in the 50/50 raffle, or tour the 150-year-old museum.

For those who took a tour, preserved rooms, clothing, and paintings from the late 1800s were showcased throughout the mansion – giving a quick glimpse into the past.

“Well, it’s just this community is so good to us and it’s just a way we can you know, give people a chance to come have some lunch for not a whole lot of money, mingle a little bit, enjoy our lawn, and enjoy the museum.”

Brock Rogers, board member and tour guide at the museum

Winners of the 50/50 raffle will receive a Victorian Holiday Dinner Party for 10. All funds from the event go towards supporting museum operation.
