Community blood center pleads for donations amidst type-O blood shortage
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - Vitalant, the community blood center for nearly 900 hospitals in the United States, said they are experiencing an emergency shortage of type-O blood. In a release, the organization said they have experienced a 30% blood donation shortfall recently. Trail being added to nature preserve in Roane County
WALTON — Work is underway to add a more than two-and-a-half-mile trail at a nature preserve in southern Roane County.
