Ritters Mill Road closed until further notice
Ritters Mill Road, a road south of Temple Hill, will be closed beginning on July 10 until further notice, according to the Glasgow/Barren County Emergency Management. According to emergency management the road will be closed to all traffic at the low water ford. The reason for the closure is the low water ford replacement, which was approved by the Barren County Fiscal Court on Nov. 6, 2023 and that was discussed publicly at the Temple Hill Elementary School on April 22.

KSP searching for wanted man, suspect possibly ‘armed and dangerous’
The Kentucky State Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 36-year-old Eric T. Adams. Scott Sharp, the public affairs officer for KSP Post 3, which serves eight counties directly north of Barren County, said Adams is wanted after he fled from a traffic stop and for having an active bench warrant out of Bullitt County. According to Sharp, Adams is roughly six feet tall and 198 pounds with a short beard and tattooed sleeves on both arms.
