After brief struggle, Bartholomew County man busted for dealing drugs
COLUMBUS, Ind. – One man is in custody for drug dealing and resisting law enforcement after he was stopped on his bicycle for traffic infractions early Thursday. The Columbus Police Department (CPD) stopped a bicyclist at around 3:10 a.m., near Indiana Avenue and N. Ross Street because the bicycle did not have a front light or rear reflector. The man was identified as Christopher Keller, 34, of Columbus.

Next Legal Aid phone clinic is Tuesday
COLUMBUS, Ind. — Legal Aid District 11 is holding a Free Legal Aid Phone Clinic for residents of their eight-county district this Tuesday, August 13, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. You must register from noon to 2 p.m. that same day. The district includes Bartholomew, Johnson, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Jennings, Rush, and Shelby Counties.
