(WNY News Now) – Lakewood – A routine patrol led to the arrest of Jacob C. Sandy on East Fairmount Avenue, where officers discovered methamphetamine in his possession. On July 3, 2024, at approximately 8:04 PM, a Lakewood-Busti Police Officer conducted a street check on East Fairmount Avenue in the Village of Lakewood, NY. The officer identified Jacob C. Sandy, a 26-year-old homeless man, who was known to have an outstanding warrant from the Ellicott Police Department.
