Maciel’s Tortas & Tacos Prepares for Bartlett Expansion

A trendy eatery that was recently named the ‘Most Popular Mexican Restaurant’ in Tennessee will soon open another location.

Maciel’s Tortas & Tacos is expanding to 3108 N Germantown Pkwy in Bartlett , confirmed owner Manuel Martínez . With existing locations on South Main and in Cooper-Young, as well as another underway on Summer Ave , Maciel’s is sizzling its way through the state.

Martínez told What Now Memphis that while there’s no set opening date for the Bartlett locale, it will precede the Summer Ave location, which was originally scheduled to debut in early spring.

According to a recent City of Bartlett Facebook post , all necessary business licenses and sign permits for the eatery have been submitted through the proper channels.

The menu at Maciel’s features a wide range of authentic Mexican delights, from traditional favorites like tortas, tacos, nachos, and fajitas, to more unique dishes like huaraches (masa dough topped with refried beans, meat, cheese, and salsa) and Baja fried tacos.
