Longtime North Texas sports bar closing after nearly 30 years
THE COLONY, Texas — Rix Sports Bar in The Colony, formerly known as CJ's, announced they will be closing down after nearly 30 years in business. The Facebook post said it will continue regular operating hours until July 27. Rix asked customers to comment on the post with their memories and photos, and the community delivered.

Artspace111 in Fort Worth has announced 51 artists from across Texas selected for its annual juried exhibition. See a list of the selected artists below. Each year, a guest juror selects artworks from the submissions and names prize winners, who receive cash awards.
