MLB Announces Schedule For 2025 Spring Breakout Games

On Aug. 15, MLB announced its schedule for the Grapefruit and Cactus Leagues in spring training. Among other things, the release also confirmed that the Spring Breakout series—a weekend of games which pitted teams of prospects against one another—will return.

In all, 65 of BA’s preseason Top 100 prospects were on the 2024 Spring Breakout rosters, including Brewers wunderkind Jackson Chourio and current No. 1 overall prospect Jackson Holliday.

The 2025 event will take place from March 13-16. The schedule is as follows.

March 13

Cubs at Dodgers	Glendale, Arizona
Red Sox at Rays	Port Charlotte, Florida

March 14

Mariners at Guardians	Goodyear, Arizona
Royals at D-backs	Scottsdale, Arizona
Athletics at Padres	Peoria, Arizona
Pirates at Phillies	Clearwater, Florida
Nationals at Astros	West Palm Beach, Florida
Cardinals at Marlins	Jupiter, Florida

March 15

Rangers at Giants	Scottsdale, Arizona
Angels at Cubs	Mesa, Arizona
Yankees at Orioles	Sarasota, Florida
Twins at Blue Jays	Dunedin, Florida

March 16

Reds at Brewers	Phoenix, Arizona
Rockies at White Sox	Glendale, Arizona
Tigers at Braves	North Port, Florida
Mets at Nationals	West Palm Beach, Florida
