"Even after him hitting the baby in the head, there's still nothing y'all can do to get them out of here?" - Ayesha Curry figures in an altercation with French police

Stephen Curry is probably on cloud nine after adding the only hardware missing from his collection. In his first and likely only Olympic participation, he helped Team USA secure the gold medal with his signature 3-point flurry in the final two games.

Unfortunately, the Golden State Warriors superstar's wife, Ayesha , found herself in an unfortunate incident after the U.S.'s victory over France. She apparently figured in a dispute with French police after she and other family members, including her and Steph's three-month-old baby, Cauis Chai, couldn't get across the street to reach their vehicles. The mother of four could be seen tearing up afterward.

    Dray to the rescue

While there aren't many details behind the supposedly tense confrontation, it seems police were stopping people from crossing the street to make way for French President Emmanuel Macron's party that was leaving the area after attending the gold-medal contest.

Ayesha and her companions were among those who had to wait. Sadly, it appears that Caius was hit in the head during the confrontation, which had Steph's mother, Sonya, enraged at a certain policeman.

Warriors forward Draymond Green could also be seen in the video, although it isn't clear how long he had been there. After Sonya told him what happened to Steph's youngest kid, Dray asked why the police still weren't letting them pass.

"So, even after him hitting the baby in the head, there's still nothing y'all can do to get them out of here?" Green said.

There's still no report on how the rest of the incident played out, as Sonya and Damion Lee, a Phoenix Suns swingman and Steph's brother-in-law, requested the person recording the scene to stop.

    Steph shatters the French's dreams

The Curry family was present to witness Steph bid the French national basketball team and its fans "night, night." After torching Serbia with 36 points and nine 3-pointers in the semifinals, the two-time NBA MVP showed no mercy to France, putting up 24 points and eight 3-pointers, including four straight late in the fourth quarter as his mind went blank .

Macron was there to watch Les Bleus collapse in the final period and fall to "Chef Curry" and the Americans in the gold-medal game for the third time since 2000.

The French will have to wait four more years to try again for the gold. However, it won't have the home-court advantage anymore as Los Angeles will host the 2028 Olympics. On the other hand, Steph likely won't be there to suit up for Team USA and torment France.
