Representing Team USA at the Olympics is not something every NBA player dreams off. After all, USAB is by far the most dominant team in the competition. Being among the 12-man roster is a huge deal for any NBA player.
This year, the roster was led by veterans LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant . While the vets handled business, young stars like Anthony Edwards made a lifetime of memories playing in Paris.
Evidently, the players need to form an excellent bond to play on the biggest stage in the world. This includes keeping the mood light in the locker room, and Ant-Man made it his personal mission.
KD reveals Edwards was the jokester on Team USA
Durant and Ant were vital members of Team USA's Olympic gold medal run. However, apart from winning the first Olympic medal of his career, Georgia native also earned KD's recognition for being the team's jokester.
The Slim Reaper made the revelation to Jalen Rose via Boardroom on YouTube.
"It was fun," Durant said . "We always talked about the season. Ant was probably the biggest jokester in the locker room. He had all the funny sayings that we picked up on… that Atlanta slang came in the locker room heavily. We just had a great time, man. We talked about everything.
Well, it's no surprise that the Minnesota Timberwolves star was the funniest person in Team USA's locker room. Ever since entering the league, Edwards has had several moments on and off the court that have led fans to appreciate his comedic talents.

Edwards was impressed with Serbia
But it was not all jokes for the Team USA as they were pushed to the limits during the semifinal matchup against Nikola Jokic's Serbia. However, USAB did register a 95-91 win over Serbia, thanks to Stephen Curry's heroics.
But until the end of the third quarter, Team USA was trailing by double digits—so much so that Edwards was thoroughly impressed with the way Serbia played in crunch time .
"Everybody's taking their shots, they playing within the system," Edwards said. "It was impressive cuz it was him(KD), Steph, and Bron on the floor at the same time."
Serbia's brand of basketball ultimately helped them in winning the bronze medal against Germany. While it's still an outstanding achievement, they will most likely challenge Team USA for the gold medal in the 2028 Olympics. But then the next crop of superstars such as Anthony Edwards, Ja Morant, and more will be ready to take on talented European stars.
