LeBron James is gearing up for the 22nd season of his NBA career as the King will soon turn 40 years old. It’s unheard of a player entering his 40s and still being one of the top players in the league.

Apart from dominating on the court, the Los Angeles Lakers star is one of the most impactful athletes in the world. Evidently, many brands around the globe love to have the four-time NBA champion in their commercials.

James was recently featured in a hilarious commercial for DraftKings. The Lakers star was paired up with legendary comedian Kevin Hart and as expected, their on-screen chemistry was through the roof.

    Hart trolls James’ age

In the commercial, James unveiled that he just received an NFL offer. To no one's surprise, Bron claimed he was thinking of accepting it. Following James’ revelation, Hart roasted the soon-to-be 40-year-old.

Aren't you too old to be playing football? They want somebody that can run a 40, not somebody that's 40,” Hart joked. “When the coach calls your number, you're gonna say 'G56 Bingo!' How are you gonna celebrate a win? Give everyone butterscotch candy? Probably out your pocket with no wrappers, just gonna give them raw candy. That's nasty, by the way.”

It was James’ first TV advertisement with Draft Kings. The King joined the sports betting company in January 2024. Considering the first commercial was a huge success, fans are anticipating what’s next for them.

James’ trade to the Golden State Warriors was vetoed by Rich Paul

Since joining the Lakers in 2018, James may have led the organization to an NBA Championship in 2020, but the rest of the years haven’t been as successful as many would have expected.

Last season, a plethora of reports emerged about James potentially seeking a trade out of Los Angeles. The Golden State Warriors were dubbed one of the top landing spots for the four-time NBA MVP.

However, super agent Rich Paul was against the move . Paul wanted James to protect from the backlash of teaming up with his longtime rivals Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

As a result, James remained with the Lakers and now faces the challenge of guiding the Purple and Gold to the 2025 NBA Championship to solidify his legacy as one of the greatest players in the franchise's history.

Lebron has been around awhile and he still doesn't know how he is being used by the power structure. He will never be of any use to the black community, so get your billionaire on, see what that Legacy be like....that will be the closest he will get to MJ
