In a post promoting Netflix's documentary series "Starting 5," Barack Obama shared his all-time starting five. Being an obsessed fan of the Chicago Bulls, the 44th U.S. president kicked his quintet off with the most iconic Bull of all time, six-time NBA champ Michael Jordan .

"I'm from Chicago—MJ, Michael Jordan, at shooting guard," Obama said.

Barack is a Bulls lifer whose love for the team began in the 80s when he moved to Chicago to work with the Developing Communities Project. However, with student loans weighing heavy on his wallet, Obama said he couldn't afford to watch any of the Bulls' games to catch Jordan play in person.

"When Michael first came to town, I didn't have the money to buy tickets for a Bulls game, even the discount ones back in the day. I was pretty broke," the popular former president shared .

Barack continued by naming LeBron James as his point forward, referring to the latter's court generalship as a primary reason for the selection.

"I'd put LeBron at point forward; a bunch of times, he'd be bringing up the ball, and he'd be distributing. He'd basically be doing some of the stuff that he did recently in the Olympics, and that is a pretty good approximation of what Magic Johnson could do," Obama explained.

    Obama picked Curry over Magic

Any all-time five would need a player who could provide the other superstars plenty of space to work with. For that, Obama had the perfect person in mind.

"I want a little shooting and a little flair, so I'm going to put my friend Steph Curry into the mix because we're in the three-point era, and he is the greatest shooter of all time, bar none," he said.

Barack then named Hakeem Olajuwon at the five.

"At center, I'm going to put Hakeem 'The Dream' Olajuwon, whose game I think translates to today's game. He was such an amazing athlete, an anchor on defense, and he's going to give you everything you need out of the center position," Obama added.

Barack admitted having trouble deciding who to give the last spot of his starting five. In the end, though, he picked Kevin Durant to complete the lineup.

"This last spot is tough, but I think, especially given today's game, I've got to go with Kevin Durant—KD—who may be the most efficient, effective scorer in the history of basketball," Obama said.

Barack felt confident about his five going toe-to-toe against anyone. With such a well-rounded and formidable team, there's no doubt that Obama's starting five would be a force to be reckoned with in any imaginary showdown.

"I'm feeling pretty good about that five beating just about anybody," Barack concluded.

Obama is a phoney. I remember him claiming to be a white sox fan and then he couldn't name his favorite sox player. He also called Comiskey park, cominskey park. No real sox fan would ever make that mistake
