Ruston man charged with domestic abuse
A Ruston man was arrested last Saturday morning after he allegedly beat and strangled his girlfriend. Ruston Police officers responded to a Center Street apartment where a woman told them her boyfriend, Brandon Stripling, 30, had demanded access to her cell phone. She would not give it to Stripling, who took it from her hands.
Former GSU player killed in Ruston crash
Jazmin “Paso” Boyd, a former star Grambling State University basketball player, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Ruston Friday night.
