Healing Communities With Love hosting Christmas in July event
MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Healing Communities With Love is hosting a Christmas in July event, and today, Diana Shaffer joined Good Morning ArkLaMiss to talk about the event. Shaffer says the organization focuses on empowering youth and providing young single parents with resources for their children. The Christmas in July event is on Monday, July 29 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Delhi Recreational Center.

Colten is a a senior defensive end with the class of 2025. He is 6’2, 243 pounds and a huge addition to his team. He has racked up quite the resume in his 3 years playing for Jena. He was named to the 2022 All-District DL Second team and the was awarded first team all district in 2023. Also in 2023 he was awarded All-Cenla Honorable Mention, Jena Giant Award, and the LSL All-State Second team. He went on to say how in the 2023 season, him and his team took the Giants to the third round of playoffs. This is the furthest they have gotten in school history. Last season he has 32 solo tackles, 31 tackles with assist, 8 TFL and 3 sacks. He currently has an offer to Louisiana Christian University.
