ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A Dansville man is facing several charges after a high speed chase ended in a crash in Batavia early Sunday morning.

Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies said they attempted to stop Dandre Cramer, 25, just before 2 a.m. on Main Street. He allegedly drove off and led deputies on a pursuit through city streets reaching 93 m.p.h. before he crashed at the corner of School St. and Swan St.

He got out and ran but was eventually taken into custody. Deputies said they recovered a defaced, loaded handgun in his car.

Cramer is facing a host of charges including resisting arrest and several criminal possession of a weapon charges including one for possession with a previous conviction.
