    BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Looking to start your day with a sweet or savory breakfast? Baton Rouge has several places that offer some of the best waffles around the capital city.

    Waffles are a traditional breakfast and popular item that is offered in several restaurants in the area. They can include sweet options like fruit or savory treats like bacon in the batter.

    Waffles can come in all kinds of flavors including pumpkin, banana bread, chocolate chip, Belgian, buttermilk and blueberry. Customers can choose their favorite flavor and add their own touch with syrup or other toppings.

    Bonjour

    Customers will get a taste of Paris, France, when they visit Bonjour. Some of their signature waffle flavors include Banana Bliss Waffle, Just A Waffle, Triple Chocolate Waffle, The Fruity Waffle and Oh La La Fraise Waffle.

    SoLou

    SoLou offers brunch every day, according to their website. If you want waffles, SoLou has chicken and waffles from their variety of plate options, and they also have the SoLou waffle. Customers can also get waffles as a side item.
