TikTok food critic Keith Lee gives wings at Baton Rouge Creole restaurant high rating

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A Baton Rouge Creole restaurant is gaining attention after popular TikTok food critic Keith Lee visited and rated the food.

Lee, who is in Baton Rouge for his food tour, has visited several places in the city including KOK Wings and Things , brunch restaurant Fork N Spoon , smoothie shop Dr. FeelGood and Smoke Bayou , a local BBQ place.

Over the weekend, Lee posted his food review of The Bayou Affect . The restaurant received over 30% of the vote in a poll about the place that embodies the Baton Rouge food scene, according to Lee.

In his video, Lee said the customer service was OK and his family waited an hour to get the things they ordered. The Bayou Affect issued a statement and explained there was a miscommunication issue with the name assigned to the order but apologized for the inconvenience.

Lee ordered the Philly Egg Rolls, spicy lemon pepper wings and a fish platter. Lee tried the Philly eggrolls and rated it 5/10. He rated the fish platter a 7.5/10 and said it was seasoned well.

Lee liked the wings the most and rated them an 8/10.

The Bayou Affect is located at 670 O’Neal Lane and is open from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
