Louisiana market goes viral after ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ star tastes chicken salad on TikTok

BATON ROUGE, La. ( BRPROUD ) — Calvin’s Bocage Market’s famous chicken salad is going viral after a former star from “The Real Housewives of New York City” tasted the dish on her TikTok.

Bethenny Frankel, who has 1.9 million followers on her TikTok page, gave the chicken salad a try in a video on her TikTok. The video has nearly 900,000 views with over 76,000 likes and 3,000 comments.

Frankel stated in the video that Shane Griffin , a local graphic designer, sent over the package that included a container of chicken salad from Calvin’s Bocage Market.

After Frankel took the first bite, she said, “Wow.” Frankel explained that the chicken salad was very similar to a previous chicken salad she had tasted, but it was more pureed.

Some of the other items that were included in the package Griffin sent included Cajun candied jalapenos, Wheat Thins and pimento cheese.

Calvin’s Bocage Market is located at 7675 Jefferson Hwy. in Baton Rouge. It offers its famous chicken salad, fresh orange juice, party trays, fresh sushi and specialty meats, according to its website .
