Truck Seen Dangling on Louisiana Overpass, Coroner Called to Scene

Traffic on I-10 East in Baton Rouge, Louisiana was congested Monday morning after an 18-wheeler hit the wall of an overpass, and then went through it.

Several photos on social media show the cab of the truck dangling off the overpass, and WBRZ reports that the driver of the truck was ejected upon impact.

The Baton Rouge news station has also reported that the coroner was called to the scene of this accident.

Police say that the truck jackknifed on I-10, near the I-110 split, and that is what may have caused the driver to lose control of the rig.

The identity of the victim was not yet known.
