LSU basketball makes the cut for top 50 center

LSU made the cut for yet another top target on the board in the 2025 basketball recruiting class.

The Tigers are still looking for their first commitment in the cycle, but they made the top five for four-star, top-50 center Jaden Toombs as he trimmed down his list. They’re joined by Alabama, Miami, SMU and Texas Tech.

LSU seemingly has some ground to make up with the Dallas prospect, who officially visited Texas Tech last September and has upcoming official visits set with Alabama, Miami and SMU. The Mustangs are considered the slight favorite with the Red Raiders not far behind according to the On3 recruiting prediction machine.

We’ll see if LSU can close the gap here despite not getting him on campus for an official visit.
