Woman pleads no contest to drug charges in Baxter and Marion Counties
A Bull Shoals woman pled no contest to drug-related charges during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Monday and was put on probation for four years.Sixty-four-year-old Pamela Stauffer was arrested in both Baxter and Marion Counties after being found to be in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia to ingest the drug, including glass smoking pipes.

Fundraiser Friday will provide funding for Baxter County tornado victims
Several local businesses will be partnering with food suppliers to sponsor a fundraising lunch and dinner this Friday to benefit tornado victims in Baxter County. Mountain Home Mayor Hillrey Adams spoke with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News and says their goal was to sell 1000 chicken lunches and as of Thursday evening tickets to the lunch event had been sold out with tickets still available for the dinner.
