Shots fired results in $100,000 bond
Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 26, 2024 – Jonesboro police responded to a shots-fired call at a home on North Church Tuesday morning. 76-year-old Nellie Bobbitt told officers that 45-year-old Brian Bobbitt was in a bedroom in their house when he fired a 9mm handgun five times into a kitchen wall. One victim was actually in the bedroom with Bobbitt at the time of the shooting.

Thief steals key, but not the Truck?
Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 26, 2024 – Jonesboro Police responded to a vehicle break-in on Tuesday that could have been a lot worse than it was. Officers were dispatched to Allis Street regarding a 46-year-old man who had parked his truck in his driveway. He took the key out of the ignition but left it lying in the center console and left the door unlocked. He told officers he usually goes out and gets the key before going to bed, but he forgot this time.
Nettleton alum/South Arkansas CC CF Kyle Tolley commits to Arkansas State
JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - A Raider and a Star returns to Jonesboro. Kyle Tolley announced on Tuesday that he’s committed to Arkansas State baseball. He hit .343 in 2024 with 11 home runs and 39 RBI as South Arkansas College reached the NJCAA Division 2 World Series. Tolley also had 26 stolen bases and drew 24 walks.
