8 people apply for vacant Bay County commissioner seat
BAY CITY, MI – Eight people have applied to fill the 7th District commissioner seat vacated by Dennis Poirier earlier this year. Poirier, 75, died at his home on June 16 after a battle with cancer. Whoever is appointed to fill his position will hold the seat until Dec. 31, when it is set to expire.

Public Art Passport Exhibition supported by $3,000 grant
The Marshall M.
