Shots fired in Syracuse tripled in a week: 8 injured in 5 shootings
Syracuse, N.Y. -- The number of shots fired incidents in Syracuse tripled in a week and appear to stem from beefs between rival gangs, police said. In seven days, there were 36 shots fired incidents in Syracuse, according to Syracuse Police COMPSTAT reports. That’s compared to 12 shots fired incidents the week before.
