Three men from North Jersey were sentenced for their roles in running a ghost gun trafficking network in Passaic and Hudson counties, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced on Monday.

The investigation began in December 2022. According to court documents, police investigated a firearms trafficking network, operating largely in Paterson and Bayonne, that included 27-year-old Richard Mullane, of Bayonne; 21-year-old Savion Clyburn, of Paterson; and 31-year-old Corey Jenkins, also of Paterson.

During December 2022 and January 2023, police say they recovered over a dozen firearms. Law enforcement recovered additional firearms during the execution of search warrants on Jan. 30, 2023, including a loaded PMF that Jenkins threw out of a window of his home upon realizing that law enforcement was nearby.

In addition, a search warrant discovered 600 child sexual abuse images on an electronic device at Mullan’s home. He pleaded guilty.

All of the suspects are sentenced to serve jail time and will be on parole for several years after they get out.
