DelDOT to host workshop on proposed bicycle and pedestrian improvements in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN — An in-person public workshop regarding proposed bicycle and pedestrian improvements in the Middletown area will be held at the Appoquinimink Public Library on Wednesday.

The event will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in an open house format so that members of the public can provide feedback after a presentation on the proposed improvements.

The proposed changes would connect local neighborhoods to downtown areas and nearby recreational amenities in the Middletown area.

Members of the Department of Transportation project team will be available to answer questions, and materials will be available for public review. Workshop materials will also be posted on the project website at deldot.gov following the event.
