Speak Out Against Hate to hold meeting in Lewes

LEWES — Speak Out Against Hate will hold a community meeting at the Lewes Public Library from 5-7 p.m. June 6, concerning the flying of a Confederate flag outside of the Nutter D. Marvel Carriage Museum in Georgetown.

Heading the panel will be Georgetown Mayor Bill West. Joining him will be Sussex County Councilman Mark Schaeffer; Jane Hovington, chair of the Richard Allen Coalition; attorney Tom Irvine; and moderator Joseph Lawson, a board member of Speak Out Against Hate.

The library is at 111 Adams St.
