Townsend Fire Company fundraiser on Sept. 14

TOWNSEND — The first annual Extinguish your Thirst event to benefit the Townsend Fire Co. will be held Sept. 14.

The event will include beer from Jakl Beer Works, Volunteer Brewing Company, First State Brewing Company and Crooked Hammock Brewery.

The Roger Girke Band will provide live music and kids activities are planned.

Tickets are $50, and $35 for no beer access. They can be purchased on eventbrite.com . Kids under 12 are free.

The event will be held rain or shine at Townsend Fire Co., 107 Main Street.
