Back to School Bash set for Aug. 24 in Smyrna

SMYRNA — The Back to School Bash will be held Aug. 24 at George C. Wright Jr. Memorial Park, 520 N. Street.

Entry is free and a backpack giveaway, food, vendors, DJ Tom Sullivan voter registration and more will be available.

Hot dogs are free for kids under $18 and fish sandwiches will cost $10.

A softball game is scheduled for noon to 4 p.m., followed by a gospel concert running from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the Smyrna Clayton Ministerium.
