Stallings: Carney not a 'good fit' for Wilmington

As a resident of Wilmington, I do not think John Carney is a good fit for the mayoral seat.

He doesn’t know the workings or financials of this city as well as Velda Jones-Potter does.

Also, I feel he is being endorsed by Mike Purzycki to usher in the continuation of the good ol’ boys club that will work against the community here by continuing to displace our elderly and lower-income residents.

So, I will definitely be voting for Jones-Potter in September because I feel she’s a better fit.
