Chic At The Beach Boutique kicks off diaper drive back-to-school event

LEWES — Chic At The Beach Boutique is launching what it hopes is an annual event, “CHIC Babies Diaper Drive,” benefiting the Harry K Foundation, beginning with a "Moms and Mimosas" event from 9-11 a.m. on Sept. 4 at the new Coastal Way Retail complex, 18259 Coastal Highway.

Organizers report this free event is designed to celebrate the start of the 2024-2025 school year, while giving local moms a morning of relaxation, shopping and community connection.

"We're hosting the CHIC Diaper Drive to support families in need through the Harry K Foundation, ensuring every baby in our community has access to essential supplies for a healthy start," Ellen Didion, owner of Chic At The Beach, said in a release. "By combining our drive kickoff with the 'Moms and Mimosas' event, we hope to bring attention to this important cause while offering Moms a chance to take a moment for themselves as the busy school season begins. It's the perfect blend of relaxation, style, and community."
