Shooting incident in Lincoln under investigation

LINCOLN — A shooting incident on Wednesday morning is under investigation, Delaware State Police said.

Authorities said that at approximately 11:41 a.m., troopers responded to a road rage shooting that occurred earlier that morning on Issacs Road near Cedar Creek Road.

According to police, the preliminary investigation revealed the victim was driving northbound on Issacs Road and was involved in an alleged road rage incident with the driver of an unknown pick-up truck.

The driver of the pick-up truck fired a shot at the victim and fled the area, police said.

The victim was not hurt, police said.
