County offices closed Labor Day, no council meetings until Sept. 17

GEORGETOWN — In addition to the Sussex County offices being closed for Labor Day on Sept. 2, the county council has also not scheduled meetings on its regular Tuesdays on Sept. 3 and Sept. 10, making its next regular meeting on Sept. 17.

This schedule doesn’t seem to impact any other citizen boards that regularly meet at the administration offices at 2 The Circle, Georgetown, as both the Board of Adjustments and the Planning and Zoning Commission have their respective Monday and Wednesday meetings scheduled at the regular times.

The next time all three boards meet on their regular schedules is the week of Sept. 23.
