New Life Thrift Shop Halloween extravaganza starts Sept. 30

LEWES — Beginning Sept. 30 and running through Halloween, the New Life Thrift Shop, 34686 Jiffy Way, is offering costumes for all ages, household decor, party and front lawn decorations as well as Peter’s Pumpkin Patch that’s sure to have the perfect pumpkin.

“All year long, the shop’s volunteers set aside spectacular merchandise for this special event,” organizers said in a release. “From little sticker books, to treat bags to serving dishes to wigs, gag gifts to full scale skeletons, you can find it here.”

If planning a more do-it-yourself style costume this year, the shop has and continues to offer an extensive collection of shoes, clothing and accessories to finish off the most detailed costume or the silliest spooky gag possible.

New Life Thrift Shop sells donated goods at reasonable prices to support the core ministries of its parent organization, the Lewes Rehoboth Association of Congregations, it said, including the Community Resource Center, The Way Home, Lighthouse for Broken Wings, What is Your Voice?, Prison Ministry, St. Vincent DePaul Lewes and Rehoboth, Westside New Beginnings, Lewes and Rehoboth Volunteer Fire Departments and more.
