    WHEN: Saturday, 3:30 p.m.
WHERE: Delaware Stadium (18,000), Newark, DE.
RADIO: WDSD 94.7-FM (Scott Klatzkin, Bill Harmon).
    TV: FloSports (fee required).
    LIVE STATS: Statbroadcast.com.
    SOCIAL MEDIA: DSNSports on X.
COACHES: Delaware — Ryan Carty (20-9, 3rd season); Sacred Heart — Mark Nofri (71-64, 13th season).
NATIONAL RANKING: Delaware is ranked No. 1 in FCS by the Congrove Computer rankings. UD is ineligible for most polls.
    SERIES: Tied, 1-1.
LAST MEETING: Delaware won, 19-10, in 2020 FCS playoffs.
LAST WEEK: Delaware beat Penn, 29-22; Sacred Heart lost to Stonehill, 35-21.
QUOTE OF THE WEEK: “It felt really good. I haven’t scored a touchdown since Thanksgiving of 2019. It’s been a minute. My dad has always said to me, ‘Act like you’ve been there before.’ I would say I did. But, at the same time, it was, ‘Wait, I have been here before it’s been a little while,” — receiver/Michigan transfer Jake Thaw on catching a scoring pass for his first college touchdown last week.
ANOTHER QUOTE OF THE WEEK: “I was running to make the tackle. When he (teammate A’Khoury Lyde) hit him, the ball jut popped up in front me — right in front of my eyes. It was a like it was in slow motion. I made a catch and celebrated a little but,” — linebacker Ty Davis , describing his interception with 1:26 left to seal last week’s win over Penn. He called it “a once-in-a-lifetime feeling.”
KEYS TO THE GAME: Delaware is trying to stay unbeaten in its final non-conference game of the season. The last time these two teams met, in 2020, it was in a tightly-contested FCS playoff game. But the Pioneers lost to Delaware State earlier this season while one of their wins was a seven-point victory over Division II Saint Anselm. On paper, it’s a matchup the Blue Hens should win. ... That being said, Delaware has had some first-half lapses in its last two games. The Hens trailed Penn, 16-6, at halftime last week and were up only 21-13 in North Carolina A&T the game before. While playing well in the second half is certainly a good trait, Delaware could save itself a lot of angst with some stronger showings in the first half. ... Delaware will try again to figure out its issues with making PAT kicks. This season, three kickers are a combined 9-for-13. After last week’s game, Carty said he was just going to start going for two after every TD. It will be interesting to see if he was joking or not.
NOTES: The contest is Delaware’s Parents & Family Weekend game, which usually draws a big crowd. ... The Hens have scored 17 offensive touchdowns so far, the most in the first three games of a season since 2003. ... Delaware has given up only two sacks for five yards while recording 10 sacks for 60 yards on defense. ... The Hens have forced at least two turnovers in all three games this season. ... Reserve QB Zach Marker , who had off-season knee surgery, suited up for last week’s game. He was in street clothes at the start of the season. ... The Hens are at Monmouth for a 1 p.m. contest next Saturday as they start their run of CAA games.
PREDICTIONS: Andy Walter: UD, 34-7; Tim Mastro: UD, 31-17; Glenn Frazer: UD, 35-13.
