County council contributes $2K to West Rehoboth Legacy Mural repair effort

GEORGETOWN — Sussex County Council members Mark Schaeffer and Cindy Greene each contributed $1,000 from their district’s discretionary account toward the repair of the West Rehoboth Legacy Mural, damaged in an automobile accident in June.

The original artist, Terrance Vann, returned earlier in September to replicate the mural on the repaired wall at the behest of the Developing Artist Collaboration in Rehoboth Beach, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Councilmember Mark Schaeffer, district three, put it on the agenda according to the council packet, and contributed $1,000. Councilmember Cindy Green, district two, contributed $1,000 from the account she controls as well.
